Privacy by design
Audio is not retained
VisitRecap processes your healthcare conversation to create a visit recap. Audio is not retained after processing, and we do not keep visit transcripts.
Patient-controlled
You own your data. You see only a patient-facing summary — like personal notes you would write yourself.
Multi-factor login
Accounts are protected with multi-factor authentication (2FA) and access controls.
Not a medical record
VisitRecap does not generate or maintain official medical records and is not an EMR.
Canadian privacy by design
Data handling is designed for Canadian privacy requirements, including PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation.
Consent before every visit
Please let your healthcare provider know you are using VisitRecap and obtain their permission before starting. The app also includes a built-in pop-up consent process — both the patient and the provider confirm consent on screen before note taking begins.
