What is VisitRecap?
A note-taking tool for patients that uses the same medical-grade AI-scribe technology adopted by physicians. It syncs with QuickChart.MD, so you can securely send patients their summaries, handouts, and letters.
VisitRecap processes the healthcare conversation to create a visit recap. Audio is not retained after processing, and no transcripts are stored. Data handling is designed for Canadian privacy requirements, and an in-app consent process confirms both patient and provider consent before note taking begins.
Built by two physicians who kept seeing the same problem
As practicing doctors, we watched patients leave the office nodding along, only to forget most of what was said by the time they got home. Instructions were lost, follow-ups were missed, and our phones rang with questions we had already answered in the room.
We had already built QuickChart.MD, an AI medical scribe that thousands of clinicians trust to handle their documentation. VisitRecap grew out of that work: we turned the same medical-grade technology toward the patient, so the people we care for can actually remember and act on their visits.
